Big ideas are cool again. The best place to find them is at Wellington: Creating Tomorrow, a forum inspired by Rotary.

The Forum has been run for eight years covering a range of topics from privacy and security to lessons for Wellington from the Christchurch earthquakes.

The last two years have been focused on developing a blueprint for the future of Wellington by hosting New Zealand’s most innovative. This year we’ll build on that success by sharing new ideas and aspirations and fostering ‘communities of interest’ among participants to help them engage, collaborate and co-create.

Our audience will be multi-generational, from all walks of life and inclusive of Māori, Pasifika, Pākehā and new immigrants. As well as young people, we’re engaging those with young families and the elderly, so that every perspective is heard. The common denominator is a passion for discovery and a commitment to tangible change.

So come and join in the conversation and be part of creating your Wellington of tomorrow.

Among the speakers are:

Hon Grant Robertson    MP for Wellington
Tamatha Paul    President Victoria University Students’ Association
Moana Mackey    Chief Advisor to Chief City Planner, WCC
Wayne Mulligan    Port Nicholson, Block Settlement Trust
Sophie Handford    School Strike 4 Climate
Anake Goodall    Chair Hillary Institute of International Leadership
Dr Sarb Johal    Psychologist and disaster mental health expert
Chloe Swarbrick    MP
